Words of Wisdom Wednesday, no. 10

Every Wednesday I share a quote that resonates with me in some way. This is miscellany‘s tenth installment of WoWW

I still find each day too short

There is a spelling error in the image above. John Burrough is a football player, while John Burroughs (ending with an “s”) is a 19th century naturalist. This is Burroughs’s quote. John rubbed elbows with other important men, such as Edison, Ford, Roosevelt, Muir, and Whitman. He was a prolific author of nature and philosophy essays/books.

This quote should really ring true with everyone. I believe we all feel there are never enough hours in a day. Unfortunately, the things we feel we need to get done are (somewhat) insignificant. We rush around day to day. This quote is a reminder to focus on the simple things, even in our busy lives.
